Around 90 people attended the evening of post war reminiscences provided by John Gipson, Raymond Course and Michael Walford, which was held in the church. The evening had a light hearted historical flavour and was laced with anecdotes of the three speakers - starting businesses after the war, connection of mains water, Home Guard and memories about some of the village characters.

The evening ended with a social where there was short rolling slide show of events mentioned during the Reminiscences and also photographs of some of the large village houses.
