After a week of changeable weather, we were glad to be able to hold our concert in front of the church on a sunny evening with almost 60 people in attendance. The band, conducted by Simon Anker, played a broad selection of music, including some from John Stainer's Crucifixion, Procol Harum's Whiter Shade of Pale and some typical brass band competition pieces.
