Following a period of changeable weather, our fourth show was held on a sunny day. Of the 46 cars and 10 motorcycles on display, 39 were new to the show and ranged in age from a 1903 De Dion to a 2000 Morgan Plus 8. The support of al the exhibitors once again allowed us to attract many visitors and make profits exceeding £1000, a little higher than last year. Each exhibit was a reminder of its own era and the picture above spans two classic racing events, with the National (nearer to the camera) reputed to have competed twice at Indianapolis around 1912, and the Bentley (behind) similar to those that were so successful at Le Mans. Many of the exhibitors have more than one car or motorcycle and we look forward to being able to include some of them in another show next year.

During the event, teas were very popular, adding to the income, and the supply of cakes was almost exhausted. Our grateful thanks go to those who supplied cakes and also those who worked very hard in the kitchen to keep up with demand.
